Bidra med feedbackThere were some communication issues with the food truck since the daughters were learning the ropes, but they more than made up for it. Please tell your girls to keep their chins up. For running the show at dinner time at an Oktoberfest, they did a darn good job. Also, the pizza was worth waiting for. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
Listen, do you ever find yourself awash with hunger with not the faintest idea of what you truly want to eat? Do your tastebuds rebel against the monotony of flavor you’ve given to them from choosing chain restaurant after chain restaurant? Victory Lane Pizza is your answer! This locally owned pizzeria isn’t your Pizza Hut, your Dominos, or your Little Caesar's thank goodness. There’s a time and place for those but you’re not wanting the ordinary, the mediocre, the plain. You’re wanting a carefully created culinary collection of dough, sauce, cheese, and toppings that are brought together for just the right time and temperature. That’s exactly what Victory Lane Pizza provides! The crust is that wonderful, fluffy, slightly crispy (but definitely not greasy). The cheese is a warm blanket that goes excellently with the sauce. Every bite of the pizza (pepperoni, in my case) is a nice balance of flavors. Folks, there are so many specialty pizza options. I normally don’t want to risk my dinner choice on something unproven, but the performance of VLP’s crew on the cheese pepperoni gives me confidence in any creation that comes out of that wonderful Monroe based oven whether in restaurant or food truck. For a bonus the VLP crew recommended I try their local favorite: hot honey! I was very skeptical I mean I like hot food, but honey on pizza? My tastebuds will testify that this is a combination that should have happened a LONG time ago. So please, don’t just take my word for it. Visit Victory Lane Pizza yourself and enjoy the incredible food they have to offer! We have ordered from them for many many years, but noticed a steep decline in service, food taste and quality on recent orders. We decided to give it one last try, 3 steak sandwiches and 3 fries with white cheese. Simple enough. The time to pick up was 45 minutes. When we got it home, 2 of the 3 sandwiches were not made to order. The bread was not edible, we had to pick it apart. All 3 cheese fries were wrong, bacon added to all and it was not good. Also, they must be having a shortage on fries! There was also another sandwich, which I still cannot identify and we did not order. Trashed it. The absolute worst food I have ever ordered from anywhere, we all ended up trashing most of it. That is our last order from this establishment, horrid. So glad Larosa’s is here, ordered a few times already and it has been spot on! Service: Take out Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $30–50 Food: 1 Service: 1
We’ve had free from here MANY times over the years; used to be my favorite place by FAR. The last few times we’ve ordered we have not been satisfied at all. Today will probably be our last time ordering. The pizza we received took 45 minutes which is normal and acceptable. However we received a pizza made incorrectly. We called and they are sending a new pizza. An hour and a half later! Not acceptable. The pizza has a butter burnt taste to the crust but was not burnt and hardly any cheese or sauce. Skimpy is being easy. Unfortunately this place is not as good as it once was. Service: Delivery Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $20–30 Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 4
Definitely a big change from the original owners! Ordering it was very difficult! And the way they charge for a pizza is kind of ridiculous! They charge per item at $1.49 no matter what the size! The pizza was good, but $20.40 for a medium 5 item pizza seems pricey! Their steak sandwiches are smaller! After getting a menu, I noticed a 5 meat pizza for $17.99! #GOFIGURE
