Bidra med feedbackFood was very good. Had the $14.99 special of grilled chicken and cod. We hadn't been in a while and we knew they used to have free pie on Wed and asked but they no longer do that. After paying and getting ready to leave I saw a cardboard standup that said they offer cobbler for $1.99 on Wed. Our waitress was training another one and they were good but it would have been nice if she would have picked up on our question about the pie and suggested the cobbler. All 3 of us probably would have ordered it. They might not make much on that offer, but they would have gained points from us for future visits.
John D. Was the best waiter ever!!! He brought out the food, lemonades and everything needed with speed and top teir service. Price point and specials are great and I enjoy it every time.
This was my first time at this restaurant. The place was decorated nicely for the holidays. The atmosphere is rustic and has a home feel to it. The best feature is that they have old historical pictures of Monroe up on the walls all over the place. That was a nice treat. The food was good and the staff was very nice and friendly. I overall will be back. I recommend you go ahead and give it a try. Enjoy.
It’s 2:43 on a Sunday. Got here around 12:30. Still don’t have my food. Had to walk to the bar an hour after ordering my drink just to get one. Complete, total incompetence. Very similar experience last time I came. I tried to give them a second chance because they have a good menu. Never again.
This place has really went downhill. I was served my food with no utensils. Finally got them but had to ask at least twice for extra napkins.The salmon I got was excellent but the steak looked like some horrible cut of meat that did not even look like a steak.My wife enjoyed her meal except for the fact she got potato mush when she wanted potato soup.The place itself was nice and quiet. I guess no one goes there anymore because of the quality. Its gonna be a loooong time before I go back.
