Le Chene Vert - Monpazier

It has closed down.Although still advertising on various sites,the business has closed. Very unfortunate but I assume as with lots of other restaurants the pandemic caused the closure.

Very friendly staff...quick service...fantastic pizzas with really good thin bases. A really lovely place...Merci!

We found a long hair in our pizza, told the waiter, he shrugged and still charged us full price. The pizza itself was only okay, we normally go to Chez Minou as they are really good but thought we’d give this place a try, never again!

This restaurant filled up really quickly for lunch so it was a good thing we had booked. Our salads and duck confit were excellent and the chips yum. Right on the main square, it has an excellent aspect.

After arriving late at our digs,we went out to look for something to eat.Feeling a little tired,Le Chene Vert was the 1st place we came across.We did think that we were a little late to be served but,we were made very welcome by the staff. We ordered a couple of G T's plus a pizza which we shared,excellent. The next visit,unfortunately,they were out of tonics though they promised to have some by the time we called again. The following night as we walked in,the barman,who must have spotted us,presented us with a couple of our favourites. I call that good service. If you are a pizza fan,ask for the chefs special,it's great.
