Nou Raco - Monover

We read the favourable reviews for this restaurant so we decided to give it a go. We ordered two main dishes and a shared salad and the bill came to 47 euros which I consider a rip off. Firstly, the potatoes contained in my monk fish casserole were hard and the portion of fish therein were very small. Secondly, my companion 's cod dish, although generous , reached our table cold. They charge 2 euros for bread without even asking if you want any and 3 eurs for a measly glass of red wine. To add insult to injury IVA was added on top, which is normally included in the price. The place became rather crowded with families around 3 pm and due to the lack of waiters the owner had to rush around like a blue-arsed fly. Obviously, these other people ordered something different from what we did. Unfortunately we didn 't have a mobile phone with us to be able to scan the menu and check the pricres. Everything was done verbally which was disvantageous.

Decided that this will definitely be our local! Always greeted well. Food and ambience is superb. Can’t wait to go back in November!

Delightful restaurant in Monovar which is well worth a visit. In fact we have made several and intend to make more!! The attendance is great, Noah is very helpful and kind
