Carpenters Arms - Monmouth

This is a great pub with brilliant staff in a very friendly village, my party came to the village for a quiet stag party to enjoy us. we had one of the owners when we were, who was brilliant, a humble man who sorted our question. the lamb cake and zimmermann kuchen was especially delicious and would recommend. all in all a very pleasant experience with delicious food and would recommend with all holidaymakers.

Had a delicious burger with bacon and cheese (was a special of the evening), that came with onion rings, salad and chips, which were definitely homemade, perfect! My partner had a curry and it was also delicious. The staff was super friendly and COVID measures were in place to make the dining experience a comfortable and relaxed one. Extra bonus is that the pub is less than 10 minutes walk from the Keeper's Lodge Campsite!

What a charming little village pub! The atmosphere is warm and inviting, and the staff is incredibly friendly. We happened to stop by while traveling and ended up dining there for two consecutive nights. The food was absolutely fantastic and offered great value for the price. I would definitely recommend a visit!

Delicious homemade food at great prices, served by friendly and helpful hosts. I highly recommend it! Don’t miss the whiskey and marmalade dessert—it's amazing!
