Tj's Pizzeria - Monmouth

Wednesday is $1 wing night and they are so yummy! We got the general tso and g-money honey wings and would definitely get them again. The pizza is also brick oven fired, which is personally my favorite. Great cocktails too! Go here. Great food, great service, great experience!

I thought that I was going to get a pretty good cheeseburger sub alongside some loaded cheese fries, not only were the prices significantly different from online the food was treacherous. Never in my life have I had food that made me as sick as that did. Immediately after the first bite my stomach started hurting, my fries were cold, severely undercooked , not seasoned at all and had barely any cheese. I couldn’t even finish the food it hurt my stomach so bad. I just got food last night before they closed and I have terrible nausea and diarrhea. If you like a good bar and onion rings this place is for you, if you want food that isn’t going to make you sick I would deter yourself from this place at all costs. I am not even sure how this place is still in business.

The menu is extensive-which is almost always an indication that the food won’t be very good. In this case, that was accurate.I had a garlic burger-the patty was thin and dry. I suspect it was a frozen pre-made patty. Overall it was very bland and lacked proper seasoning. The pasta salad is weirdly sweet, and is mostly just noodles that are over cooked and very little veg.My family thought the steak and cheese subs were ok, but everyone agreed that the French fries are absolutely terrible. They lacked salt and they were all strangely short. They were also very dry and didn’t have a great texture.I would suggest paring down the menu. Do fewer things better rather than a lot of things poorly.

I would like to start off by saying that the parking lot is typically full as i drive past this restaurant everyday a few times a day. I typically make food at home and order out occasionally and today was one of those times. TIme had just slipped away and we needed to eat along with the kids. I don't know what to say besides we were completely shocked when we got home and opened the 2 boxes of pizzas to find a extremely thin crusted pizza that was cold and hardly cooked. The fact that we recently moved here and figured I would give it a shot, it would take alot in me to order here again. I wish the menu was more clear and staff be a bit more welcoming.
