Here on the way to sestri levante. this place is located on the famous passo del bracco. beautiful view and relaxed atmosphere. the personal is beautiful and the restaurant offers a simple menu for a reasonable price. I'm glad I stopped here. at the end we had a talk with the owner. very nice. 100% recompensive

La qualità del cibo è mediocre. La birra viene servita a temperatura ambiente e non hanno nemmeno del ghiaccio. È caro in proporzione alla qualità. La pulizia del locale lascia a desiderare. L'unica nota positiva è la vista dalla terrazza.

If you are wanting a fine dining experience then pass on by, but if you want to sample good local food prepared simply and with great skill this is the place. It is located in the village of Bracco high in the mountains behind Moneglia...and offers a respite from the stifling heat in the valley. We travelled up from the town by local minibus, very reasonably priced and is approx. a 2 hourly service. There was no menu for our lunch we sat in the veranda on the opposite side of the road to the restaurant proper to take advantage of the splendid views down to the sea. The food just started coming out starting with wonderful local cheese (did not get its name) a selection of sliced cured meats. The pasta came in 2 styles a ragu and a pesto served Italian style. The pasta is made on the premises. The final course included a salted tuna thinly sliced, the tiny local olives were very succulent and tasty. The wine came in carafes but it had the typical fruity underlined by a slight mineral tang style that I now associate with the Ligurian wines. We worried a little about the bill as we never saw any prices but a couple of hours eating and drinking came to 25 Euros per head. Will certainly be back perhaps in the evening when they have a music night The buses run until 23:30 so getting back should not be too difficult.
