Burgled - Monash

We tried Burgled Burgers and were treated to a mouth-watering experience. The venue had the typical atmosphere of a Burger bar. The service was fast and there was a great variety of burgers to choose from. The burgers were delicious and filling. A visit to Burgled Burgers is a must for anyone who enjoys a good burger, paired with a milkshake or beer.

Was here a few times, but once again, and was totally disappointed! the fries were excellent, but this is where it ends! when the cook keeps his eyes from his phone and the burgers as prepared as they are meant to. this evaluation would be different! the whole atmosphere of this place is too relaxed. we ordered the Indian I think he forgot to fool him and the Italian who had a smidgen if salami. doesn't know whether the management has changed last year or so, but maybe it has to change again. very, very disappointing! we will not come back

1. McChicken from McDonald’s Chadstone in 2003: They forgot the chicken in my McChicken. 2. Original Fillet Burger from KFC Yarraville in 2008: The burger had a tiny, dried-out piece of chicken that only filled half of the roll, so they added a cold nugget to fill the rest. 3. The Samurai from Burgled Oakleigh tonight: The first 25 burgers had no chicken, the next 50 had deep fried panko crumbs, and the last 25 had a thin piece of chicken that was pink in the middle. I couldn't even eat it. Welcome to the list.

The prices at this restaurant may be high, but my vegetarian burger was made with cheap ingredients. Paying 13.50 for the burger was not worth it. There is a lot of seating available inside and outside, however, the atmosphere of the restaurant was off-putting. The staff was friendly and accommodating, and the seats were comfortable. However, the loud disco music and televisions with the sound off didn't create a pleasant dining experience.

A group of 4 adults and 3 children visited for an early dinner around 18h45. Burgled is one of the places we have visited a few times every year for the past 7 years. It took 15 minutes to get the drinks order and another...10 mins for the drinks to come. There were 2 tables already eating, one of 4 and one of 8 and us. It took another 20 minutes to get the food order and only after I got up to the counter asking if someone could take out order. There were 5 staff on at the time, 2 service and 2 on the burger station. It took another 30 mins for the food to come. When it did, the one burger was incorrectly prepared, this was brought up and replaced 5 minutes later by the manager who enquired if all was ok. I replied we were still waiting for the fries. He said coming up shortly. He came back 5 minutes later with 2 items that were not fries and it took yet another 5 or 10 minutes to come back with the fries. Despite my request for my family's burgers to be done medium well, all the burgers came well done or burnt around the edges. This was brought up when paying for the meal and while the manager was apologetic and we were not charged for the fries or drinks, it is disappointing that the service and quality of food has deteriorated over our last few visits. The other family mentioned to me when we were leaving that they don't see themselves coming back. It is a pity because the burgers and service used to be very good.
