Bidra med feedbackVisit our family for an anniversary dinner at the time of "social distancing". Undoubtedly, the mood of the place was influenced by that, but in general we enjoyed the evening thoroughly and the food was delicious, although portion sizing (except the gnocchi) was not too generous. a beautiful ambience and pleasant night outside.
We were very disappointed by the selection from the menu and the amount of food we paid for. It was a two course set menu $60 per head. My partner and I both ordered the chicken and got two small pieces of chicken with some sauce and kale with a free (letter) salad. The desert was also very disappointing and we both left hungry!!!
It enjoyed our dinner very much. The food was delicious, but the service was slow. But they were very pleasant and explained they were a waiter. Would eat again at Tallwoods.
We always love Monday night as the chef cooks a three course meal and everyone eats it. It is delightful to have no idea what is coming or what country it comes from and it is ALWAYS delicious. If there are fours instead of fives it is only because in five Monday night visits two desserts have been less interesting than other courses.
Yummy food. City standards in this Mollymook eatery.
