Bidra med feedbackDespite being the only place to eat out in Westcott, a charming village of over 2,000 people, and having a superb chef, the pub is sadly in need of a makeover. Neglected infrastructure has resulted in a chilly bar area, and a restaurant reminiscent of the 1950s. The publican is a fantastic chef. The menu is excellent and food produced is delicious. The bar staff are friendly and helpful, there is a lovely garden and decking area, plus a large forecourt potential, and excellent parking. It is in a great position to attract people driving past on the A25. This pub could be the heart of the village if only the decor could be more inviting.
Had a great time at The Prince of Wales in Westcott, visited during the summer months and the pub offers a very nice outdoor decking area and beer garden. There is a great selection of drinks and the food is lovely! Especially Sunday roasts!!
Excellent takeaway Sunday lunch in lockdown very generous portions, really tasty, great value. Roast beef, roast pork, roast chicken and Veggie roast all a big hit in our house a lovely family Sunday lunch without hours of cooking!
After enjoying excellent fish and chips in the summer we ordered a takeaway Sunday lunch in October. Thought the beef was nothing short of excellent and will definitely return.
