Angolo 16 - Modica

Corner 16 is a crepery and takeaway that insists in the square of the Sacred Heart which also offers the possibility to sit in the tables in the square in front of and there to eat dinner. The management is very courteous and they are all very kind and attentive to the needs of customers. The service is fast even when there is confusion and the numbers running on the display make everything very neat. However, despite these positive notes, I must say that the last piadina I took did not satisfy me at all. The ham was of excellent quality but, both mozzarella and fries were practically nonexistent. Very few. The piadina was almost empty. In my opinion this is unacceptable because when it comes to “comfort food”, as in the case of species, I expect to find a full and grundant piadina. Moreover, despite I asked for the sauces inside, already from the first bite I realized that nothing had been put: the piadina was dry. I asked for some bags (which with great courtesy provided me) and, therefore, I opened the piadina and put from me the sauces. I discovered, at that point opening the piadina, the smallness of the sauces (which were actually put in quantity close to zero) and the very modest number of chips. If I can give advice, also making a comparison with other places that propose the same products in the city, it is to increase the quantity of seasonings and sauces. Putting some extra chips does not change much for the manager but from a sense of satisfaction to the customer. Finally: Excellent quality of products, such kindness, speed in service and prices in the norm. To be reviewed, in my opinion, the size of the portions.

I found fresh ingredients and excellent crepes, I also recommend the crispy and delicious peas. Excellent combinations for both savory and sweet ones to be enjoyed in the square in front of the club. I highly recommend trying it
