Verona Cucina Italiana - Modesto

I love Veronas, it's our goal for celebrations. Perfect place for birthdays, spacious, but the staff is very attentive. Great food and drinks and even though it comes with the fine dining table tag, the portions are large, so it is still a good value.

Terrible service Glum waiter and hostess. We eat here often, but it really went downhill. Do not ask for coffee it is always lukewarm and you will never be offered a refill. The 65-dollar special Rib Steak looked chewed and gray. I think this is strictly a pasta place all other dishes just ok.

The fritto misto appetizer was excellent. I could have just had that for dinner. The calamari steak sautéed was also excellent. The vegetables were flavorful. We were seated outside and the weather was nice. Initially we were inside, but there was a loud group that made it difficult to hear. Many customers even opted to sit outside despite the slight chill. The good news is that once we moved to the terrace, everything was great.

Exceptional service, delicious food. We really enjoyed the ambiance. A great place for a dressy dinner date or having casual cocktails on their adorable patio
