Caffetteria Dal Cinque Al Sei - MODENA

Walking around modena trying to find a place to chill and have a drink we got to a place just in front of the Albunelli Market. Great atmosphere good music and nice people. Truly recommended.

Came across some fantastic piano music being played. It was inside a beautiful square! We sat outside and ordered some G and T's and listened. There was a guy playing the piano and another strumming on some drums. It was absolutely brilliant. We supped on our drinks absorbing the atmosphere. The lights in the square came on and the church bell tolled. Wow oh wow! Brilliant!

We drank one of the best wines in Italy, ever! It's a Lambrusco, bio version. The place is perfect made for tourists and they have healthy appetizers if you're interested in this kind of food.Great atmosphere also, feels like home.

Had lunch there today after visiting the food market that is in a building on the other side of the small square. It is an organic vegetarian restaurant. We had the Rice with asparagus and peas and the Riso Nero piccante which is spicy with chillies. Each cost €6. We then had a green salad with strawberries and balsamic €7. They serve very nice coffee. The service is friendly and although our waitress had limited English she was smiling and helpful. Atmosphere is good and you can sit in shade or sun.

Stumbled upon this place on a lovely sunny day and couldn't have asked for more. Lovely staff who were very accommodating with regards to our limited Italian. The food, wine and coffee could not have been better. Simple, authentic and well executed. As a bonus, the place is specialises in organic, vegetarian food. Something different.
