El Encuentro Surf Lodge - Moca

Only in August 2022 for a 5 days surf trip. The Encuentro Lodge is amazing, very comfortable and very clean rooms, shower excellent, food is amazingly good, staff goes beyond their tasks to drop you Welcome, Ana, Juan Carlos, Wanda, Noe. The beach is right there, wild nature fully preserved,Great surf, you can rent almost any board, waves are simply great. No TV, Internet Wifi works well, you forget the noise of cities. Will return. Thank you.

The house is fabulous. We loved it. Juan Carlos was so helpful. Easy walk to a great surf beach. Lovely view of the ocean from the patio.

The staff is amazing! The rooms are great. The pool is beautiful and clean. The food is the best in Cabarete! The beach is a 5 min walk away. I’d like to mention one more time… STAFF IS AMAZING. I wouldn’t change one thing. It’s quiet, clean and friendly!

We had an amazing stay at the surf lodge with our 9 month old baby. The room (studio) was perfect, even if you had to stay inside (as the baby needed a break from the sun from time to time) it did not bother us as the room was big and had a small terrace. The staff was very friendly and the food at the restaurant very good and healthy. Overall we can highly recommend the place!

We loved El Encuentro! The staff (Anna, Noel, Alfredo, Angelo, Alan, EVERYONE!! were so friendly and helpful. They made us feel welcome and like part of the family. The Lodge was set away from the “hustle bustle” so we felt relaxed and comfortable. We enjoyed walking between our Bungalow and the main Lodge area. It was nice to have both pools and areas to hang out. We spent breakfast, lunch, and dinner at the restaurant and tried all the options. Don’t skip dessert!! And try everything on the menu. We will most definitely be back! Thank you, staff, for being so great!
