The Back 40 Gastropub - Mitchell

We ate at the 40 last night and the place never disappointed. the gunpowder gin mint mojiti was absolutely amazing. the food was over the top tasty with the freshest products for my salad, I loved the tiny cut gurks! we will definitely be back, the atmosphere was so funny and service was top notch.

Great friendly service, great atmosphere and delicious food. can not wait to return in summer when the terrace is open.

Oh. My. Goodness good. Awesome food. Terrific atmosphere. Also a huge drink menu. Saturdays are half off burgers.

The food here is quite good, we have eaten here twice. Both times our fries have been cold, assume it is due to small size (shoestring fries) hot fries would be a good touch. Wish they would have a selection of local ciders (real cider lovers do not drink Woodchuck). There are a couple excellent choices near Sioux Falls and surrounding states. Happy to volunteer as your cider ambassador should the Back 40 decide to appoint one.
