Messenger Coffee Co. - Missouri

Since the Starbucks closed I have to go to this coffee place. I work in the plaza so I go to this place almost all morning to get my coffee. but this morning I have to say the barista who help me took the order and make my coffee, her attitude was horrible. She did not even greet me to let me order, her face was not happy at all. Small, cute little cafe. The staff are super friendly and the coffee and tea are delicious!

This review is mostly focused on the outstanding customer service that Akiah provided. The bakery’s online ordering system had a glitch, so even though I ordered and paid a day in advance, the items in my order sold out before I picked them up. Akiah kindly called another location to see if it had my order in stock, and when she could not locate the items, she promptly refunded my order. The first time I came I had a bad experience with the barista, but the second time I was treated very kindly. The staff were welcoming and they handed me my beverage at the counter where I was sitting. The first time, I was sitting at the counter and there was no one in line so i asked her if she could hand me my drink and she told me it would be 5 dollars then stormed over with it causing it to spill and said next time to go get it myself. This place had the best Gingerbread cookie/cake thing I’ve ever had. My friend got the Croissant Breakfast sandwich and it came on one of their fresh croissants with a thick piece off ham and egg topped with cheese and said it was delicious. Their mocha was pretty good too. I will definitely be back.
