El Maguey - Missouri

The food here is pretty good. It's more Tex-Mex than traditional Mexican food. Maybe more of a regional thing than what I would call authentic Mexican food.

Typically always a good choice. This time the food quality was decreased. Ordered a steak burrito with only the steak no veggies or cheese. My son said his dish was good but seemed different. Very crowded but no wait. Prices have increased post-Covid like many places have.

Since I moved here from El Paso I've been looking for an outstanding Mexican Restaurant, and I think I've found it! Great prices, outstanding staff, and a great atmosphere. The chips were very good, and they might have been the least impressive part of the entire meal. Our food came out remarkably fast (and accurate) I had the Enchiladas Yolandas and a chile relleno poblano, it was all excellent. I will definitely be coming back here again, thank you!
