Mama’s - Missouri City

Excellent meals at Mama's. The staff was friendly and quickly took our orders and delivered the food. I will return.

I don't understand why my review keeps getting taken down. The food and service is mediocre. Prices are not cheap for the smallest portions I've ever seen. The side salad was out in a condiment cup. Weirdest thing ever. Nothing has taste and no seasoning whatsoever. Takes a long time to receive your order and they weren't even busy. Only 4 tables occupied.

I usually don't go to new restaurants until after they have been open for a few months. I stopped in a whim and enjoyed lunch immensely. The chicken fried chicken was nice and juicy. I liked that the chicken wasn't pounded flat. The garlic green beans were super garlicky l, just the way I like them! Lots of butter on the green beans too. I ordered the chicken strips to go for my son. He said they were pretty good and the fries were excellent.

I went there tonight for dinner. The menu is quite inviting however the food presented is not. Pork chop much smaller than the size published on the menu.. The blackened redfish was not blackened. Very little seasoning . Both entrees served with a cold roll. The wedge salad was good.! The ladies bathroom has not been completed! Two toilets no stalls separating; no safety rails! Not ADA compliment.The server was polite! However I will not return !

Okay , so this is a full review from service , food and the ambiance. The service was good, yes it's fairly new restaurant, it's going to have its quirks. Our waiter was all over the place, they definitely need more help! The food was overall about 6.5 , our table was 8 people. We had different dishes and everything was just okay. The ambiance needs a little help, the tables are very close to each other and maybe some music would help? Will I be back , yes to try different dishes but will I be in rush to get back no.
