Iron Horse Grill - Missoula

Had a great lunch at Iron Horse. They are dog friendly, which is awesome when you’re traveling with a doggo. Food was great (especially the fries) and the service was prompt and friendly. Highly recommend if you’re in Missoula or passing through.

I ordered the Greek Hummus plate. I asked for a side a fresh veggies with it since it does not come with any greens. The hummus was good and so was the tzatziki. We had cocktails with lunch but they were not great. My wife ordered a huckleberry sour that was supposed to have egg white foam in it but there was none. I would not recommend this site for good cocktails. Also, the service was really slow. Our drinks came out about the same time the food did.

Had the bison burger. The bison was perfectly cooked but the fried onions were greasy and chewy and made the whole thing a mess. Paid $2 extra for the spicy fries. Felt like a rip off. The fries were quite bland, felt like standard Sysco brand fries. Nothing special.

The food was AMAZING, the service was even better, dalton was our server I couldn’t see anyone else on the floor except him. I’m a server myself I know how it is, he went out of his way to go to the kitchen to finish up our desserts because the kitchen was swamped. It was so extremely busy he was doing great. it can be hard not to get frustrated with customers asking for so many things when you’re trying to do so many other things we asked a lot he was so kind. Will be going back ordering from there today!

Love this place so much. Their tequila shrimp is to die for!! I come here at least a couple times a month just for that. Honestly everything else is off the charts too. Salmon BLT is unique but so flavorful and tender. They do not skimp on portion size either.
