Melt - Mississauga

We were in Mississauga the other day and went looking for some lunch. We happened across Melt "wich" food co. This is a neat little place that has a very interesting menu. Now I enjoy a good grilled cheese sandwich as much as the next person and these have seen a resurgence lately popping up on menus everywhere. In the case of Melt they take it one step further, and if there is such a thing as a designer grilled cheese sandwich these guys have nailed it. I ordered a Bacon Avocado grilled cheese sandwich and this sandwich had cheddar, herb & garlic cream cheese, bacon, smashed avocado, herbed tomatoes, red onion, spinach & chipoltle aioli on it, and it was as good as it sounds. I will be on the lookout for Melt "wich" food co. shops as I think they've got something. Try it out for yourself.

Great place will return. Sandwich was great so was poutine. went late at night after outing. not sure what else to say go check out

Great classics and some good new ones too!Great poutine options.Fabulous milkshakes.Open till 3am on Fridays and Saturdays!!Service is polite and patient while you decide on so many great options.Eat in or take out. Very clean.No a/c so eat in is somewhat warm.

Really good grilled cheese sandwiches and open really late on weekends which is nice. Service was friendly for 1am, and the food was all good except the poutine which I split with a friends. Totally bland and would not recommend unless your benchmark for good poutine is McD's. Cool joint open late in the heart of Streetsville, perfect for midnight-3am snacking.

I tried to go there this past weekend and it was closed...the inside was complete empty except for the counters. Melt, maybe you want to take down the sign and take that location off of your website...just a thought.
