Union Social Eatery - Mississauga

Was here for a business meeting. extremely loud! They seemed to be short workers who have taken our server forever to take our meal times and never even refreshed our drinks. the truffled fries are fantastic. the band-laun firecracker was in order, but the meat was a strange texture. the candy salad with mandelkruste chicken fingers is chicken tacos are tasteful. I'd never make business here again, but it's good to eat for a fair price.

Eating here is delicious, but for 6 o'clock on a Saturday night it was dead! the lighting was very dark and not inviting. even though many employees run around, including someone who seemed to be manager, we were not for 15 minutes. we had to ask someone to pick up our drinks order. at least afterwards our food came fast and it was hot and delicious. our server was simply aloof, all the time.

We are there news years eve for $35.00 dinner. great. was busy, waitress was pleasant, but overwhelmed with command.

Came here with my girls for a night out, booked online through open table. Had a good time but def could see some areas for improvement. Food was alright but we found it incredibly rich and overfilling. I have celiac so I was excited to see the gluten free menu, but found that they were out of majority of the menu items and the waiters were not aware of what had or didn't have gluten products in it. So I was being recommended items that I knew contained gluten and had to politely decline. The waiter was def new and overwhelmed so long wait times, and unfortunately they were taking care of over half the restaurant on their own however there was only 4 tables that I could see besides the bar area. Staffing seems to be an issue. Truffle fries I found were drenched in truffle oil which usually I love however the fries became soggy because of the overload of oil. Nachos were good and edamame was great but wish it was a bit warmer. The booths need to be reupholstered, the booth we were sat in had all of the material ripped off from previous users and a quick glance confirmed they were all like that. So yes was okay, maybe it was because it was a Thursday night? But we just weren't feeling it. Won't be back for dine in but wish this location luck in their future endeavors.

We enjoyed the ambience, the food and the servers however service was quite slow. It took about 30 minutes before our first round of wine arrived. When the first of two appetizers arrived we pointed out a second was missing. This came as a surprise to the server (who was a different gentleman from the one who took our order). Without asking or complaining the server (perhaps the manager) stated the missing appetizers would be taken off the bill and it arrived several minutes after we finished the first appetizer. We also appreciated the fact our request to add a birthday candle to our friends dessert (at the time we ordered it) was honoured and were pleasantly surprised to learn there was no charge for her birthday dessert.
