Hotel Restaurant la Cremaillere

Sat on the terrace writing this review, what to say a lovely place for a remarkable price. Kids 3 course menu at €9.50 including steak main, adult set menus start at €13 up to mid 30s. The cheeseboard was spectacular. Service polite and friendly. Would come back again if in the area.

On arrival we were greeted with a huge smile by the owner and shown to our table. Very clean, bright room with lovely views of the river. A wonderful location and delicious food. We all had the cheapest plat de jour (9.95€? and we were all very pleased leaving the restaurant stuffed! Would definitely recommend this restaurant for a lunchtime meal 5* Many thanks for making our day special.

I ate lunch twice last week while staying with friends nearby- we did pre-book. Everything was presented beautifully and tasted great. I didn't bother with the set menu because as a pescatarian it was easier for me to order a la carte and I enjoyed the St Jacques scallops.I am not a pudding person but the cheese selection was amazing. Wine was delicious. The service was patient and precise- the young waitress in training was well supported and all proceeded as it should. The place is clean and tidy- nothing to fault. Then view of the lake was spectacular and all I had to do afterwards was to stroll along to the pretty beach for a spot of digestion and a swim. A perfect place for a leisurely lunch.

Un accueil souriant dans un cadre bucolique. Nous avons eu le choix entre des plats à la carte ou des menus. Nous avons opté pour un menu à 34 euros (entrée plat fromage dessert).Excellent, goûteux, avec des produits frais cuisinés maison.Les ris de veau sont à tomberLes haricots verts et pommes de terre nouvelles à se pâmer.Et je ne vous parle pas du moelleux chocolat banane ni de la crème brûlée à la framboise !!!!Je ne peux que recommander cette table et vous laissez découvrir le reste de la carte.

Dîner un soir avec des amis pour clôturer les vacances.Très joli cadre: vue sur le lac en terrasse et traditionnel à l'intérieur.Accueil très sympathique. Carte avec essentiellement des menus à différents budgets. Plats centrés sur gastronomie française et auvergnate. Portion généreuse et prix correspondants à la qualité des produits.Nous nous sommes régalés!
