Le Gout R' Mets - Mirande

Second visit to Gout r Mets, simply stunning food and great service, one of the best in the Gers! The menu caters for everyone and the taste of the dishes are perfectly balanced. The service team are excellent, friendly and nothing is too much trouble. Definitely a regular visit for us.

We visited this restaurant for lunch. The food was excellent, regardless some very strange pairing: haddock with smoked duck, scallops and boudin noir. It is supposed to be modern cuisine, I rather call this, confusion. Despite it, we, eight people) founded the food very tasty. The service unfortunately is rather on the Trafalgar side: a waiter” please order, the kitchen is closing!” at 1.20pm) not very diplomatic. After two years of covid, overcrowding graveyards with empty restaurants, one would expect courtesy. Sweet wine served instead of dry wine, rose instead of Pouilly. The poor waiter was a disaster, the waitress was very pleasant. Had to write another review after visiting with the Casual lunch club today. We went for the ´plat de jour’ and for 20 euros we had three delicious courses. The highlight of my meal was the beef main course, it just fell apart and was truly delicious. Can’t wait for another visit

A hearty, fresh menu, with a small twist and a mist to lick the ramequin!

Homemade dishes and different formulas available. It's good and the frame is nice.
