Excellent meat and seafood dishes with great wine at extremely reasonable prices. Our favourite place to eat in Miranda do Corvo. Try the skewers!

This is a wonderful restaurant for meeting friends, dining alone or as a couple. There is a vast and varied menu. Seafood, Meat dishes, Fish and Omelettes and vegetables.There is a choice to dine inside or outside. A good choice of wines and beer. The service and attention of the staff is excellent. I have dined here many, many times over the years and I or my friends have not been disappointed. I could recommend lots of dishes but it would take up a lot of space. The dining room is large and well spaced out. I would recommend anyone paying a visit to Miranda do Corvo to dine at this restaurant.

Went for dinner here and found the service to be very poor it took almost 3 hours to get two courses and would have had a sweet but nobody was interested in taking our order also order additional wine for our meal but didn't get that until we had finished our main course. In the end we all just left very disappointed will not hurry back

Dinner with friends: they took ages to take our order, offered only one menu there were seven of us. Slow with drinks, very slow to offer olives, small amount of bread. No chips, just cold, soggy crisps. We asked for another bottle of wine, took them 40 minutes. They ignored us completely throughout the meal, much keener on serving their friends I guess. We would have ordered desserts but no one would take our order. We arrived at 19.30, left at 22.15. one young member of staff was friendly and helpful, the same could not be said for the surly, arrogant young man, who could not be bothered We have been several times before, never that good but not as bad as last night. We will never go back! Keep away from this terrible place if you want a nice meal.
