Royal Orchid Thai Cuisine

Have been a huge fan of Thai food for years and this is a wonderful restaurant for a nice evening out with something different! I will go back and next time I'm taking friends!

Seemed like a decent place. You have the option to do traditional (sit on a pillow at a low table) or modern seating. The curry was good and Thai tea is alway good. I 'd eat here again.

Great Thai food! I visit Destin for outlet shopping once or twice a year, and I make it a point to stop by Royal Orchid Thai every time. While the food can be a bit pricey, that’s pretty typical of Thai cuisine in the U.S. The ingredients are high quality, and the restaurant’s location is convenient for shoppers. It’s actually more affordable than many greasy seafood places in the area, and the shrimp is excellent. I’ve tried a variety of dishes, and none have disappointed. The classic pad Thai is particularly tasty, and the mixed vegetable dishes are very good as well. Some dishes are better than others, so if one doesn’t impress you, I recommend trying something different. I have a soft spot for this restaurant, but I’m a bit spoiled with great Thai food back home. Overall, Royal Orchid Thai seems to be the best option in Destin. I always receive excellent, attentive service there.

The food was excellent. I was in the mood for Thai cuisine and found this restaurant through a Google search. I went there with my family and we ordered yellow curry and some fresh spring rolls. The wait time was typical for any restaurant, but the quality of the food was outstanding. If you're looking for great Thai food, I would highly recommend this place.

As someone from Atlanta, I struggled to find a Thai restaurant that compared to my favorite spot back home. After trying several places in the area, I can confidently say that Royal Orchid has the best food and the best service. I enjoy spicy food, but I've realized I need to order mild instead of medium—medium is quite intense!
