Beach At Royal Palm Grille

Authentic!!! The Beach Bar is probably my favorite little bar in the Destin, Sandestin, MiramarBeach area. This is not a bar for everyone but for me it?s exactly what the doctor ordered. This place is normally categorized as a dive bar. One bartender, aworn wooden bar, few tables, tv on the rafters, and located right on the beach. What more do you want. If you?re a princessthis is not for you. You have been warned. Just my opinion stay away from shrimp cocktail and crab cakes. Grouper sandwich andtacos are really good.

This is a great little bar on the beach. Steve behind the bar is very friendly. If you want to have a drink and sit on the upper decking with a beautiful view of the beach this is the place to go! Went twice this week and I'll definitely be back when wecome back to visit this area again!

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. The bartender was extremely rude and refused to accept my REAL ID only because the picture was slightly blurry. I had multiple forms of ID to prove it was me but he REFUSED to look at them. I just turned 21 so Iwas so excited to buy a drink. We had a great time at the Royal Palm Grille and my ID was accepted there so I was ready tocontinue enjoying the night at their bar. But this bartender completely ruined my night.

Without a doubt worst experience I?ve had on a Friday night in a bar. After my friends and I had our IDs checked, we walked inside to order a drink and I wish we hadn?t. The bartender Missy was extremely unpleasant, rude, and simplyunwelcoming. Ordering a drink was a hassle.. after she screamed four times making sure our IDs had been checked, when my friendasked about their beer selection she answered with such crassness we were stunned. I ordered a vodka soda and she decided itneeded a good toss in her shaker, making the drink flat. The environment was incredibly bland. No music, terrible seating, rudestaff.. Great view of the beach. As we left someone decided it was appropriate to yell ?don?t come back!? We will take thatwonderful advice, we won?t be back. Extremely disappointed with the experience and hope missy gets trained in not only tendinga bar, but costumer service. Be nicer. Do better.
