Bidra med feedbackJust played this course and it is in great condition, which is the only reason why it gets 3 stars. No yardage markers on sprinkler heads, only the tiny red, white and blue markers in the fairway that are hard to see. The flags are all the same color, so no idea if the pin is in the front, back or middle of the green. The 9th green/10th tee box is nowhere near the clubhouse; in fact we never went back by the clubhouse until we were done. No map of the course on the card or at the tee boxes. Talk about playing a course blind when you have never played it before; you have no idea if there is a hazard present. For the price we paid, I would expect some of these basic things to help get around the course.
Thank you to Mark and his crew in the Clubhouse for a wonderful Class Reunion gathering for the Glenburn Classes of 96 and 97. The food was awesome, including all of the steaks cooked exactly to order. If you know the food industry, that isn't always easy in a group setting. The atmosphere was perfect for our group and event. Having worked many years in this location at the Original Minot Country Club, it is so good to see this special place thriving again. We felt very welcomed in both the course and in the Clubhouse. I would highly recommend the Vardon for your next group, golf gathering, Christmas party or just a fun night out! Thanks again to Mark, Todd, and crew!
Had lunch there for the first time and it was awesome! The food was great and the service was awesome! Mark waited on us and he was hilarious! Totally made our day!! Will definitely be back!!
We had a wedding reception at the golf club on April 1st. Mark and his staff did an incredible job. The food, presentation, staff and accommodations were first class. We couldn't have asked for anything more. Leave it to Mark, tell him what you want and let him take care of it for you. You won't be disappointed!
The course at this restaurant is fantastic and beautiful. However, they do not do anything about slow play. A group of 6 players took a long time to finish holes 11 to 18. Considering the price, it is expected that a marshal or someone would be there to help speed up slow groups and allow others to play through. It was very frustrating. Despite this, the course conditions are the best in Minot.
