Bidra med feedbackAuthentic Mexican restaurant with a lot of dishes (like menudo, sopa de marisco) which you don’t get at typical Americanized Mexican places. Quesabirria taco and elote were particularly good. New location is much bigger and nicely decorated. Went twice in past month and there is some inconsistency. the second time they served all the dine in food in take out containers and in plastic bags. Service was also slow the second time.
This has been my favorite Mexican restaurant that I have been to! The food was reasonably priced: a combo for a burrito, rice, beans, chips, and verde with salsa, and a canned beverage was only $12.99. P.s. I ate a few bites before I posted this. The barbacoa burrito was Chipotle sized and tasted amazing! The barbacoa was actual barbacoa btw. The tables were plentiful, but dirty even though their weren't many customers there were enough workers to spare someone. I tasted some of my friends' flauta, and it was the right texture and taste for a flauta. I will be back. The service was average; the most confusing thing was where I should enter the line. Each worker had a different suggestion. I will definitely be back for the food!
Food is good and reasonably priced But the place is not clean or tidy and employees don't seem to care if folks need service or not I think some higher wages may be in order to get the staff to care about the customers. Last time I was here there was a man who was bleeding and walking around the restraunt coming to tables and instead of staff assisting him a little ol grandma with her grand babies had to yell at him to get away from her and the babies because he seemed to need some assistance but was incoherently speaking. I myself called him an ambulance really customers should not have to go to this extent and staff even if it is a restraunt and not an emergancy room should be the the ones handling a situation that arises not the customers.
The BEST AUTHENTIC MEXICAN FOOD I really love this place. The workers are so professional and kind as well. Also, the music is great and the environment provides great art work of Mexican culture/twin cities.
“That burrito is huge I’ll eat half here and save half for later to snack on” is what I said before eating the entire burrito. The salsas were fantastic and the tinga had the right amount of smokiness and heat. My only complaint is that the line to order was all over the place and it took a hot minute to actually place the order, and a little long on the food itself. I would definitely say it was worth the wait though.
