La La Homemade Ice Cream And Luncheonette

An absolute gem! Our extended family loves ice cream and this is as good as it gets. Memorable flavors that you won’t find anywhere else. Some of my favorites are Raspberry with honey, Basil vanilla, cappuccino, almond coconut. Other great choices are oil and balsamic vinegar sorbert, homemade soda waters (strawberry rhubarb), soups, salads, sandwiches, pie, bars etc. Everything homemade! Great atmosphere and sidewalk tables.

Dropped by for an affogato on a warm summer afternoon. The ice cream was great; the espresso was great.But the lady in white who came out to serve it was an unfortunate strike against the establishment. She snapped at me, she snapped at the employees. It seemed like she was the owner, and maybe she was just having a bad day (or a bad hour, or even a bad minute), but I’m disinclined to support a place that treats its employees that way. Employees deserve better—especially when they are just learning a new job.

Unique flavors in a cute spot close to the lake. Scoops are on the small side so it is a bit pricey but I'll go back to try more flavors

The ice cream is so good!! Might be the best in the area. Such creative flavors too. The lavender shortbread cookies and homemade sodas with real fruit pulp are amazing as well. Such a cute store and ambiance too. I’ll be a regular this summer.

The homemade sodas are amazing and you can mix two of the flavors. I recommend blueberry basil. The food is delicious too, and the ice cream top notch. A true hidden gem of uptown!
