Esker Grove - Minneapolis

Restaurant virtually empty. More waiters than tables; but service was slow and food took over 40 minutes to arrive. Food was excellent; but, given how bad the service was, I don’t plan to return to this restaurant again.

Fantastic Happy Hour menu and prices T-Fri from 4-6. Highly recommend the ribs and cauliflower.

We enjoyed our meal...I had the scallops and they were delicious. My sister had the beet salad and she enjoyed that. We had the appetizer of cauliflower....I wish it were roasted instead of fried...that is my only complaint. The staff was friendly and informative and the ambience was nice with the full glass window views and candles.

We were slightly late. They called to check whether we were coming. The whole group of staff members couldn't have been more helpful, kind and caring. We ended up being there at close. They were so hospitable and calm. It was such a pleasant experience. I honestly have eaten at Esker Grove quite a few times. It is a real treat every time. Thanks for the great and creative food and lovely atmosphere.

Our server, Erin, was fantastic! We enjoyed the ambience and the meal (and a fantastic smoked IPA from Hammerheart) before heading to After Hours at the Walker.
