Bidra med feedbackI recently had the pleasure of dining at Butcher and the Boar where I experienced the best steak of my life. The staff's attentiveness and professionalism added a touch of warmth, making this restaurant a top choice for those seeking a memorable and indulgent dining experience. Our waiter was understanding of two of our party’s dietary restrictions and made excellent recommendations. The sides of grits and the sweet potatoes stood out, as well as their beef tartare as an appetizer. The ribeye I ordered was cooked to perfection and someone at our table got the short rib. Both were out of this world packed with flavor and so tender it melted in your mouth. Their drink menu had a selection of non-alcoholic cocktails which is fantastically inclusive to those who don’t partake, and for those who do I would recommend their dirty martini. We left the restaurant planning when we would be coming back. The complimentary valet was a great touch and we felt immediately welcomed when we came in the door.
I dined at the Burcher and Teh Boar with my son and daughter-in-law and my two grandsons. We are in MSP for a Timber Wolves Game. The hostess staff was friendly and welcoming and accommodated our needs including the two small children. Our server, Ian was outstanding. He walked us through the menu, answered questions, and made great recommendations for cocktails and entrees. All the food was exceptional and the menu accommodated the children. Ian assured that all our needs were met during our dining experience and the staff boxed our leftovers. The atmosphere was perfect for a winter night. I will plan to return any time I am back!
Our server Ian was an absolute phenomenal server for me and my friends. Not only did he give us advice on the entire menu, he made sure we always had our drinks full and had everything we needed. At the end of the dinner, we ordered dessert based off what he recommended. He ended up bringing all of us dessert wine to go along with the dessert we selected. If you go here, request Ian. King status.
Sam was incredibly knowledgeable and helped us navigate the new menu. We were impressed by his pairing suggestions and the entrees and apps really made the dining experience for us. Looking forward to returning soon!
Our server Ian was fantastic, above and beyond!!! He gave us some good recommendations. We had 6 different drinks from the bar and they were all tasty. The best thing we ate was beef cheek, it was similar to brisket but somehow even more tender. The only bad thing was the Mac and cheese- watery and bland with chunks of mostly chewy fat.
