Bidra med feedbackWe arrived at 5:30 on Saturday night. We knew they’d be busy, which was fine. They had posted a limited menu which again completely fine. The several issues were because of the hostess. She was so incredibly rude to the couple in front of us, when they asked if they could sit outside, she told them no. The woman looked at her husband to see what he wanted to do the hostess rudely said she didn’t have all day to make up their mind. They opted to sit inside. When we approached her she asked how many we told her then she told us to have a seat because the kitchen was backed up. At that point we probably should have left. We watched 3 tables get up leave outside. When she called our name after 10 minutes we asked if we could sit outside since there were open tables that just needed to be cleaned, she told us no she wasn’t cleaning them right now we needed to decide because she needed to move on if not. We sat inside at the very back. When we’d asked for 2 high chairs when we put our name in, she sat us gave us one. We reminded her we needed another, she told us they didn’t have one. There was only one other child in the entire restaurant in a high chair. So only having 2 would have been ridiculous. When we said well we’d take a booster then, she rolled her eyes sighed surprisingly found another high chair. Our waitress was very nice filled our drinks as soon as they were half empty. However we waited 45 minutes for 3 fish sandwiches, 2 chicken tender meals. Our fries were all cold soggy you could tell they’d been sitting. The cheesey potatoes were good but cold as well. The food was decent but the hostess is going to ruin this restaurant. We will not be back any time soon.
Meet friends for dinner. I had the fish dinner with 2 sides; dinner salad and the vegetable of the day which was broccoli. The fish and salad was excellent but I didn't recommend the broccoli. They also had entertainment; a gentleman playing the guitar and singing. He was very good.
The food was fantastic, waitress was great. The problem comes from the hostess who was rude. Hostess told us she could not move tables. The waitress let us move 2 tables together for a bigger party and said she has never had this issue before. The hostess took it upon herself to pull another member of my party aside while he was visiting restroom and tell him that “next time tell her she can’t do that” instead of talking to me directly. I did not move the tables, a staff member did.
My wife went there with her sister for lunch for the first time since new ownership. Very slow service, not complaining about that, happens when everyone getting it together in a new establishment! When her sister got her food my wife didnt, she was told there was a problem with order, more waiting! Again I understand new owners things need ironed out. After eating waiter came by and swipped card with a hand held device and said he would be right back, never returned! After waiting she asked another waitress about the card,no receipt no signature given,no info of any kind, she said something was wrong with system so my wife running out time for an appointment paid for meal in cash. Two days later we found she had been billed 2 times on card plus paying cash! I'm fully aware that new businesses have growing pains but a manager refusing to return a call for explanation is not a growing pain it is a blow off ,honest I couldn't make this up! Looking into the legal recourse on the card fraud as of now!
Good service pizza, cheesesticks, hushpuppies and cod fish sandwich are great also a good view of the lake outside
