Bidra med feedbackThis is hands down the best pizza in Long Island- it is Roman style and it uses good quality ingredients. I was in Rome a few years ago for a wedding - I had no slices so good, believe me I looked. I'm not gonna cut off any other pizzeria connection. But if you eat the industrial products of Sysco, you are what is wrong with society. People are super nice.
Dag Nab It!!! This place somehow ruined me for pizza. I don't live nearby, but all my regular joints will never live on this level. Now I have to either allow for the travel time or suffer with a fee. The pizzas are much creative, far beyond bbq and buffalo chicken. You could say they're out of line. And the ovens are key. I think there's only one other place in Greenport that has it. It's worth the trip, but warn that it can ruin you.
I stopped at Taglio Pizza for the first time on my jury duty at Mineola, and I must say that this is the closest thing I ever got without ever going to Italy when it comes to authentic pizza. The best pizza I've had for years. With every bite I tasted the fresh basil and other Italian herbs. Whenever I'm back in Mineola, I'll commit to stop for a disc or two.
Pizza was very delicious. Location was hard to find, even with Google maps. I liked the normal tomato sauce and potato pizzas. Really big fights on the crust. Nice to see a Roman style pizza al Taglio place, they are not very common. A critique I think there was a little inferior truffle oil on the mushroom, tasted/melded a little strange I wish they would leave the truffle oil would have been great with only the mushrooms.
Incredible Roman style pizza. I tried the pepperoni, white, spinach and artichoke, eggplant parm, mushroom, and chicken marsala slices. The pepperoni was absolutely incredible. Extremely CRISPY... It didn't make it past the ride home. All of the other slices were fantastic. The dough has a unique flavor and you can also taste the oil in each slice. Highly recommended!
