Colombinho Bar Restaurant - Mindelo

Colombinho's Café is one of my favorite spots in Mindelo for a relaxing morning coffee. Most customers of Colombinho are located in the downtown courtyard of the small shopping mall Galerias (in contrast to cafes on the water that, while beautiful, can be packed and loud, especially when cruise ships are in the city). A small supplement plus one of the shops in the center sells animal birds, making their chirping even more into the relaxed atmosphere of Colombinho's!

Very good value for money with beautiful outdoor seating. Mostly visited by locals, yet they have a menu in English.

The place is cool, everything was ok, although the food was not as expected. There is a TV you can watch the games and some stores around where you can shop, even fishes and birds, which was very nice to see.

Based on one experience: ordered pizza, I was told to wait for 30 minutes or so then to come back. When I came back I was told they did not have the flavor I asked. Really, could not have told me that b4 I waited 30 mins?!

Service was very slow. Toilets are awful. No toilet paper. No towels. Soap was empty. First toilet has water running constantly. Second toilet has no water running at all! Music was nice though.
