Third Street Tavern - Milwaukee

Loved this place- great atmosphere, fun pinball, and we loved our server, April! She was so friendly and made sure we had a great lunch!

Had a couple of beers before I went on a boat ride, this place was very nice and easy to get drinks at the time it was not very busy, good selection of beer and other drinks. Nice atmosphere, location is not easy to find parking but worth the walk around the area.

Overpriced and Mediocre. $16 for an 8” chicken wrap that was mostly lettuce with tiny bits of chicken and bacon. This wasn’t just my experience, all the other wraps I saw were made the same way. Pretty disappointed as the portion I was given was worth $9 at the most. Service was fast and the server was great though.

Food was fine, service was fine, ambience was fine. The place can do better. It's in a prime spot but yet people don't flock. Why not? It was 85 degrees outside. We thought we would come in for a drink and cool off a bit. The humidity was the same inside as outside. We still decided to stay and ordered some appetizers to share. Food came but plates didn't. We sat there and looked at the food until we could flag down someone to get us somewhere to put our food. Yes we could have eaten barbarian style, and yes we would have been fine all dipping into the same bowl of ranch, but you have to pay attention as a server. You have to know what we need before we know what we need. Still tipped plenty. Just want the whole place to do better.

Started out thinking it would be a good experience, but we were told that we would be charged a gratuity fee because a large group of us came in. Umm... There were 6 of us, the menu states 8 are charged gratuity we were told it was because a large group of us came in at once. We were not seated together were not apart of the same group. The fries were freezer burned, my bratwurst was missing German mustard, I had to request it. Other members of the group had ok food (they liked the wings, but they were NOT Nashville Hot), but nothing to write home about so... Not only do I not recommend it, unless it's take-out, I would not eat there again. Have alerted other conference attendees to avoid it in large groups. Additionally, while my lunch was am ok price, others in my group felt $33 was a bit much for wings fries with no alcohol.
