Bidra med feedbackFried chicken was soggy and not crispy (see images). You can see that the edges of the breading are turning pale like when your skin is in water for too long. Pick-and-save chicken is crispier. Tteokbokki is bland and watery. You can tell that the saucedoesn?t even stick on to the rice cakes or noodles. 2-stars because the chicken doesn?t taste horrible, it just doesn?t tasteanything like Korean fried chicken.
The wife and I went to Merge for dinner tonight. Did small plates and wings. Pictured are the Umami Bombs (Fried mushrooms stuffed with beef, Korean BBQ sauce, and teriyaki and topped w/ spicy mayo), the Jalapeno Cheddar Pepper Jack Corn Dog, andDouble Fried Wings in Sweet Spicy Gochujang sauce. Also had drinks. I had a MKE Fresh, which was excellent, while Andrea hadthe Merge Old Fashioned which she found slightly watery. We aren't big drinkers, so this doesn't have much bearing on ouroverall review. Service was fast, food was amazing! We will definitely be back to try everything else on the menu!
We are in town for a concert and we?re trying to decide where to eat. We put some restaurant names in a bowl and picked. Merge was picked and it did not disappoint. I got a eastender for a cocktail. It?s Green grape Soju, yuzu marmalade, fresh lemonjuice, agave and soda. It was a bit on the sour side but delicious. We got the loaded fries. This is seasoned Fries topped withgrilled beef bulgogi, lime crema, sweet and spicy sauce. The fries were cooked perfectly. They were able to remain crunchy withthe sweet and spicy sauce on them. That sweet and spicy sauce was amazing. Great flavor. We got the large wings. These werefried to perfection wings with soy garlic and more of that sweet spicy sauce. I couldn?t stop eating them. . Crunchy andflavorful. We also had the cheese corn dog and the jalapeño corn dog. Great flavor and great crunch. I also tried the beefbulgogi. Also extremely flavorful. The umami bombs had a great teriyaki and spicy mayonnaise sauce that complimented the Koreanbbq sauce. The service was topnotch and the food was fun and delicious.

I have an Easter for a cocktail. It is Green Grapes Soju, Yuzu Marmelade, fresh lemon juice, Agave and soda. It was a bit on the acid side, but delicious. We have the loaded pommes. This is spiced fries with grilled beef boggi, lime crema, sweet and spicy sauce. The frits were perfectly cooked. They could stay crispy with the sweet and spicy sauce on them. This sweet and spicy sauce was amazing. Great taste. We have the big wings. These were fried to perfect wings with soy garlic and more of this sweet spicy sauce. I couldn't stop her. . Cruel and tasteful. We also had the cheese corn dog and the jalapeño corn dog. Great taste and great crunch. I also tried the beef bulgogi. Also extremely tasteful. The Umami bombs had a large teriyaki and spicy mayonnaise sauce that complicated the Korean bbq sauce. The service was topnotch and the food was fun and delicious.

Shown are the Umami bombs (peace mushrooms filled with beef, Korean BBQ sauce, and Teriyaki and topped w/w/ wicy mayo), the Jalapeno Cheddar Pepper Jack Corn Dog, and Double Fried Wings in Sweet Spicy Gochujang sauce. Also had drinks. I had a MKE Fresh that was excellent while Andrea had the Merge Old Fashioned, which she found slightly watery. We're not a big drinker, so it doesn't have much influence on our overall assessment. Service was fast, food was amazing! We will definitely try everything else on the menu again!
