Royal Thai - Milton Keynes

Had a lovely meal with my family to celebrate a birthday. Fantastic variety of food, great choice of wine and beers. Superb service and a lovely surprise ice cream pud with birthday candle for my mum. Would thoroughly recommend.

Very disappointing. Has never been exactly great but we've been a few times and it's been OK and reasonably priced for lunch. We've also been there for dinner a few times. Last time was the worst lunch ever and we won't be returning. Squid starters were nice but the rest was poor. The Royal Thai Ginger was appalling and insubstantial with a watery sauce and a few bits of chilli it had 5 small, tasteless prawns. I was still hungry after toying with it. The green chicken curry was watery and less than average.

Our first time. Absolutely outstanding food and our waitress May was extremely attentive to us. Wonderfully friendly and very welcoming. Perfect timing between delicious courses and reasonably priced too. Will definitely be back. Thanks May

We had an unfortunate experience with our takeout tonight. The pad thai was greasy and had an odd, reheated taste. The starters were soggy and had oil sitting on top of them. We were disappointed, especially considering we paid £45 for the meal and an additional £3.95 for a bag of crackers. We have had great meals from this restaurant before, but tonight's experience has completely turned us off.

The food service and presentation were all excellent, will be going back if we were picky the rice was a bit stogy
