Bidra med feedbackAs non-locals, we have visited this restaurant in the past and had a pleasant experience with a friendly man who I presume is the owner. We had a lively conversation about coffee experiences and flavors. However, during our last visit, the staff, particularly the Blütenfrau, were extremely rude and confrontational towards me. They failed to acknowledge me, were dismissive when I placed my order, and overall, it was a very unpleasant experience.
This coffee shop has become one of my favorite spots in the mk area. the atmosphere here is so relaxed and the coffee, sandwiches and cake is just beautiful. so very fresh. the service by the staff is good and no one keeps them in the bugs. beautiful location in. center of newport pagnell so easy to get and never a problem with parking. love it. keep it up.
I've mixed emotions about Out of Office. The Good; • Lovely Team working there • The Coffee The Not So Good: • No dogs. I mean what coffee shop doesn't allow dogs in? • Very odd loyalty app. Requires you to check in' then you...need to ask and confirm to be sure it worked. • High Prices. • Not the freshest pastries or cookies. Bought in and sold at hugely inflated prices. for a single biscuit! Verdict: A bit of a strange place. When their only rival is a rubbish Costa there is no inventive to up the game hence my comments. Would this place last in London in this format. Not five minutes! Would I recommend it: Begrudgingly yes as there are no viable alternatives in this small village. Will I return: Yes for now. Today I visited this delightful little coffee house in Olney, when I found out my usual haunt, Gabriella's was closed for the day. Been here many a time just to look around but have never ordered anything until now. Coffees are a little strong, which...is bad news if you like milkier coffees, but they do the usual cappuccino and lattes on the menu and they also offer an excellent range of vegetarian/vegan sandwiches. My personal favourite is their Affogato 'drowned' in Italian language) i.e. a scoop of ice cream with a dash of espresso to pour over on the side. I recommend that. The dark green wood panelling decor and style of seating reminds me of a railway station waiting room. Not that that's a bad thing. Best of all they sell speciality read and equipment for coffee machines. I bought some decent coffee filter papers here that didn't break up when the coffee was poured through them, they were strong. Yep, I'm coming here again.
This place has very comfy seats, excellent coffee and very friendly staff. The lux interior is super cool and I love to pop in here. Reasonably priced too. A lot of people miss that they have a variety of toasted sandwiches available (which you can...also takeaway wrapped in grease proof paper). The menu for this is on a tiny free standing blackboard which I think is often overlooked. Can recommend the lovely vegetarian chickpea option!
