Bidra med feedbackFirst visit. Food was excellent hreat tasting, stick to your ribs home cooking. Our server was very nice and knowledgeable, but the staff, as a whole, seemed a bit off kilter a little chaotic, at times. They weren 't very busy, but the servers were arguing about something,, which I see as quite unprofessional. But honestly, our visit was a good one, and the food will bring us back. Every business can have an off day.
This quaint little restaurant that sits in a small country town located not far from the interstate is the perfect “mom and pop” restaurant in which to eat. Yes, it’s not your typical “fast food place” but the food is great and so is the service!!! Yesterday was my first time dining here (with a friend) and I ordered the turkey dinner with a side of mashed potatoes, mac’n’cheese, and a hot roll. I rarely have starchy foods, but I figured “what the heck”…lol. The waitress was very friendly and continued to ensure we were both satisfied with our meal. The meal was hot and tasty when brought out. The low hum of other diners talking did not distract from the atmosphere at all. The price was average compared to other restaurants in the area and would be about the same I’d pay for a not-as-healthy meal from a fast food place. I totally forgot to take pics of the meal, but I’ll try to add some the next time I return!!!
Prompt courteous service, the chicken fried steak homemade pinto beans were delicious!
Great homecooked food, nice-sized portions at family prices. The Seniors love this place. One of our Favs. Staff is friendly, including server, Marie.
Was disappointed with the food. While I ordered simple brown beans, cornbread, and fried potatoes.... it was not cooked well. Beans were watery, potatoes were cold in the middle, yet black burnt on one side. Cornbread had a great flavor, yet hard. Rdered what was advertised as homemade purs, clearly frozen crust. Won't go back.
