Bidra med feedbackThis location is somewhat hidden near the Milpitas Bart station surrounded by warehouses and trucks. When you find it the sign above it says 'Kitchen ' not Tita 's Cantina. Me and my girlfriend ordered online and picked it up. I got the Titas Burrito- which had lumpia in it, she had the Little Kamayan box. When we opened the box I was happy to see the large portions they gave and the presentation of the food. We also ordered a last minute fried Bangus Fish bowl for my Mom, we didn 't have to wait long for the dish to be ready. The Mexican-Filipino fusion cuisine was good, I definitely recommend it. I 've only been to one other type in SF but I think this place is better.
Tita's Cantina was great while it was opened in the past. By the time I got to posting my review of this place, it looked like Tita's Cantina closed down. We came here on 1/29/21 to pick up our order of chicken adobo and grilled pork belly burritos. It was not your typical burrito because of the size as well as the food inside. The grilled pork belly burrito was delicious and the lumpia in the middle was nice. The chicken adobo was also delicious and definitely could have ordered more than one as we were still a little hungry. Great food here!
Sad to find out this place is closed. I was hoping to come back here to order some food. I had the opportunity to try this place out back in April and the food was DELICIOUS! This place offers a fusion of Filipino and Mexican food. It also hidden as well but we didn't have trouble finding this place. We decided to order a few items from this place. My boyfriend went for the Tita's burrito. The burrito comes with your choice of protein. My boyfriend chose chicken adobo. It also comes with lumpia, banana ketchup rice, spicy mayo and pico de gallo. I was not able to make up my mind on what I wanted because everything sounded so good. So I decided to order the Little Kamayan Box. This little box came with lots of food. Like a lot for 2 people to share but it seems like it could be for 4 can share this. For the protein, I decided to get the fried boneless bangus fish, adobo chicken and spicy longanisa. The box also comes with adobo rice, garlic rice, 2 sunny sideup eggs, 6 mini lumpias , salted eggs tomatoes, cucumbers and pickled red onion. Everything was nicely packaged in a pizza box with a banana leaf. We also ordered the fried boneless bangus fish bowl for my boyfriend's mom. This dish is served with your choice of rice, fresh tomatoes, sunnyside egg, fried garlic bits and pickled red onions. Overall, they serve up some really good food. Sad to know that they moved. Hope someday they will open up another place in the Bay Area.
YUM. This place rules!!!! Filipino comfort food. The fries are nice and crisp, the ube pancake is SO good, and the banana ketchup rice is delish. Also for the vegetarians/vegans: the eggplant is BOMB. It's actually not just mush, it's genuinely tasty af. The lady who runs this place is super sweet and comped us a free meal bc there were some issues with our order. We will be ordering again soon!
Was excited to try this place out because of the interesting options! I ordered on their website for pickup and got the tocino bowl and chicken adobo fries. The bowl was was pretty good! Garlic rice was yummy and meat was flavorful. It looked like a decent amount of meat at first but most of the pieces were super fatty which was disappointing. The fries came with a really big portion, like it was physically heavy lol. It was yummy at first but it quickly got super salty for me. I also wish the fries were fried just a bit longer so it could hold up better with all the sauces on it. They also gave us an ube flan dessert which was super nice of them, it was really good and easily the highlight of the meal. Also If you follow the instructions they send in the confirmation email, it isn't hard to find! :
