Black Bear Diner - Milpitas

We had a wonderful Father's Day lunch gathering consisting of two Dads and their two adult sons at Black Bear Diner in Milpitas on a warm Sunday. Excellent food, great service, and a very friendly environment. Prices are fair, in an easy to find location with lots of parking.

Beautiful ambience. Quick service. Welcoming staff. Food was okay. Maybe I expected more in term of presentation! It’s definitely worth trying if you are looking for traditional American breakfast place!

10/30/2022 very busy location. Coffee kept full. Food arrived without table settings. Was given one napkin for three people. Had to ask for extra napkins. Looks like waiter is new. Confirmed with waiter use of birthday coupon but it turns out the order was not the birthday coupon I had to pay full price for an extra meal. Manager not willing to discount for the coupon. Manager led me to have to raise my voice at him as I paid. After I paid, he walked away muttering that it was my fault. I paid full price and he did not care if I came back. All in all not a good experience. So should I come back to this Black Bear Diner? At this point it is NO!

Delicious! The pancakes are delicious. The service is always friendly and welcoming. You feel like at home. We got eggs (you can have it any style), bacon and pancakes. There’s a lot to choose from their menu. The food is delicious and the service is excellent. Parking is easy.

Loved the food. We had to wait for 20 min on a busy Sunday morning. Chicken Avocado Club sandwich was really nice. The season special Pumpkin sauce waffles with side of cream and maple syrup was refreshingly good.
