Bidra med feedbackStopped by the Old Bank (first time) for a quick breakfast. Had a lovely egg omelette, ham, red peppers, onions, mushrooms, swiss cheese. Home made bread, coffee, juice. Beautifully prepared omelette, generous portions of filling, golden brown. Texas style home made bread, divine. OJ,...not what I expected. Coffee had a bit of a burnt taste to me. Service was friendly an wonderful. Would recommend.
Good food, nice patio area. Not a huge selection but adequate for breakfast or lunch. Average sized portions and friendly service

Millet is located on Hwy 2A, the old Calgary-Edmonton route. It is a quiet prairie town of around 2000 people. The Old Bank is a small restaurant/cafe located in what used to be the town's bank. The old safe door and Manager's office are still there, as is the wood paneled bank decor.Four of us stopped for lunch after playing golf at a local course. The menu is quite simple but adequate. We all had the panini, they had plenty of meat and cheese, and were nicely crisped. The sandwiches came with a choice of a salad or potato chips. Service was good but casual and a little slow, but who needs to be in a hurry here.
Attention Leduc and Edmontonians! Make the short drive to Millet Alberta to this place right on highway 2a.
