Bidra med feedbackI would rate this place as having mediocre to sub-par food, so-so service, and very high prices. My wife and I went on a Saturday just after they opened at noon. I had the Chocolate Goji, which was so gritty that it triggered a cough/choke reflex. I also had a Cafe Americano (hot) which was quite unremarkable. The nutburger with sweet potato fries alone was $25, but it was not edible as a burger because no normal human being could get their mouth open wide enough to bite into it. So, I ate it with a fork and knife, which means I basically had a lettuce, onion, tomato, buckwheat bun, and crumbly dry nut burger salad. It really wasn 't very good at all. The sweet potato fries was probably the best thing on my plate. I also ordered a miso soup, but it was so bland that I didn 't have more than a couple sips of it. My wife ordered the coconut curry with wild salmon for $34. She seemed to like it, but not sure it was worth that much. She also ordered a Matcha Latte, which was no where 's near as good as what we got at Root 'd Cafe. This was the second time we came here. We returned even after the initial assessment was overpriced mediocre food , thinking that maybe ordering something different would lead to a different conclusion. Unfortunately, we left with our original conclusion confirmed. Over $100 for two people for lunch where you leave unsatisfied seems a bit much.
Started to get warmer with a sampler as an appetizer, to get warm with an Old Fashion, one of the best I tried, ID checked. Good food and delicious, and their crackers were a fun find, can have some to go. Veggie accessible and meat carver. Found the best of two words. Don’t forget the dessert, you won’t be disappointed.
First time at this place and love it! Great staff: Very friendly and accommodating. The restaurant is cozy and clean. We ordered HEMP MILK CHAI SHAKE, DANDELION salad, Asian salad, NUT BURGER with sweet potato fries, beanless TOSTADA and Date ball. Everything was delicious. The portions were decent size too. Highly recommend this place.
Stuffed mushrooms were outstanding! Can't wait to return!
Decided to give this place a try but was horribly disappointed. I couldn’t eat 90% of the food because in addition to being gluten free and dairy free, the remaining dishes consisted of mostly cabbage and cruciferous vegetables. The falafel and hummus didn’t have garbanzos? The tostada didn’t have beans? Why? Lacking in vegetarian protein sources. My stomach hurt afterwards…
