Bidra med feedbackAs the vice president of a senior women's group, I recently arranged for a group of ladies to visit the Scenic Rim. For lunch, we chose Flavors Cafe and it was truly the standout of our day. The service from Mark and the rest of the staff was exceptional, and Mark even shared with us the fascinating history of the hotel. The food was not only delicious but also very plentiful. Although the desserts looked enticing, we were all too full to indulge. Hopefully, we can save room for them next time!
We kept tea on Saturday morning and ordered coffees and scones. The Scones were nice, but we are served with fake cream and very ordinary jam. We were really disappointed. The other coffees were okay, but my latte was more like a flat-white and wasn't really hot. People were beautiful and the service was good.
After a long day of work and driving through Boonah, we were in need of a pick-me-up. We stumbled upon a great cafe where we were able to relax for a half hour before getting back to work. The cappuccino was top-notch and the green tea was apparently delicious. The standout, however, were the blueberry muffins - they were the freshest and best I've ever had, and I'm not usually a fan of muffins. The service was excellent, with friendly and happy employees. If we're ever in the area again, we will definitely be stopping by for another round of cappuccinos, green tea, and muffins.
I highly recommend this lovely café for a delightful afternoon tea featuring vanilla slices and oat biscuits. The charming old-world atmosphere and friendly service make for a wonderful experience.
This is one of those gems you cant go past. The friendliest staff, great food and coffee, fantastic verandah spaces and did I mention the world famous meat pie with peas ? Delicious and filling enough to keep you powered up for the rest of this...stunning drive.
