Mexico Lindo - Miles City

Everyone working here is always above and beyond friendly. The food is delicious, comes in large portions, and does not cost you an arm and a leg. I was at another Mexican restaurant recently where they charged $3 for a kid's size serving of rice and beans... Mexico Lindo would never! The food comes out quickly and the restaurant is clean. One of the better places to enjoy a meal in Miles City.

We arrived after 1 pm on a Friday and were immediately seated. Hot chips and two kinds of salsa came right away. Extensive but typical Mexican restaurant offerings. Food arrived quickly after we ordered and was very flavorful. Lunch specials were reasonably priced. Restrooms were clean. Restaurant was light and bright. Glad we stopped while traveling through.

Awful, awful, awful. JUST AWFUL. Do not bother with this place. Just walk on by and keep going. Our food was terrible; my daughter found a big hair on top of her scoop of sour cream. ~Gross~ My Chili Rellano was old, greasy and disgusting. I declined it and ordered A TACO instead. The waitress didn't even seem surprised at all. LOL And, the customer service was non existent. She never came back to check on us after we received our food. We had to flag down another server to get drink refills. And, to add insult to injury; this place is outrageously expensive. Why? Oh, I know. It's because they have no competition. Our server, Ailyn, was just terrible! She needs to find another job.

I was the first to review this place about 12 or 13 years ago. This was our first time passing through again at a mealtime. I gave it 5* last time but it did not qualify for even close to that this time. It was packed for a Wednesday night but we got seated right away. The waiter took our order. Our food came out and was pretty good. The chips and salsa was good and the waiter got us more salsa when we asked. We finished eating and that's when the wheels fell off. We were hoping to order dessert but sat there for 15 minutes with our empty plates. I was busy booking a hotel for the night but my kids started asking what was going on. My young daughter wondered if they would even care if we just left. Finally after a few more minutes I got up and went up to the host stand/register and said I wanted to pay so we could leave because my server never came back. The guy finally came by and I told the lady that he was my waiter who never came back. He took over at the register and I commented that we were upset that he never came back. No apology whatsoever. He just snapped at me that he is busy. Fine, I get that you are busy, but don't be a jerk to me about your problem and at least apologize for being so rude and wasting my time. I guess they have enough business that they don't have to be nice. One star off for him. Another for not keeping the kitchen clean when I walked by on the way to the bathroom. Disappointing.

The food was a 2 at best. The service was decent and the atmosphere was just so so. I won't be back. The food (at least what I ordered) was very subpar.
