Bidra med feedbackEstablished by a family from Apulia just after the World War II, and still run by them. I especially recommend the orecchiette con cime di rapa when available.
A fast, low-priced business lunch. Light and bland dishes with a bit of careful choice: my lentil and rice soup had dried lentils rather than canned, so tastier and with a stronger texture. We also tried a minestrone vegetable soup and oven-baked cheese-and-bread stuffed vegetables, suitable for vegetarians. Both light and homestyle in flavour. As others highlighted, most of the foods are cooked earlier and heated up for serving. They still tasted good.
I was just looking for a quick lunch with my family, and found this place. Reviews we average so I convinced my reluctant wife to settle for this place. It is clearly a place where office people pick up something quick, but not fast good. We asked for gnocchi with ragu sauce, spaghetti with pesto, rabbit with polenta and cow stomach. All the items were specials of the day. The rabbit and gnocchi were as expected, but the rest really below average. Bad things I noticed were the unused bread was put back in the bread bag. So it will be served again. The sparkling water bottle was refilled, as I noticed when I got it on the table that the cap was loose, and had virtually no gas. I guess it is a place in case of an emergency, but otherwise avoid it.
In a familiar climate, you can get excellent dishes made still by hand like gnocchetti and ears. open for lunch at normal prices.
I press that I am reluctant in reviews. I entered Monday and today is Friday. for a week at lunch I went home! quality, price, courtesy, and love to degrees. and as a gift today our grandmother delighted me with her specialty. Yesterday I asked if there were the ears on the menu tomorrow. I've got a soft answer. But I didn't think for me. But it was. to say wonderful is little. thanks again, and you will not miss to visit at lunch the first time I am in the area. Thank you all. soon
