Al Gargano - Milano

Went two days in a row and had a great time in both. The food is simple and tasty as Italian food should be, and the waiter Salvo just made everything more enjoyable. A very fun character who makes customers feel a part of something while giving them an efficient service. And for all that, the prices are very affordable compared to much of Milan.

Had 2 wonderful meals on consecutive evenings so good the first night we went back. We ate pasta and pizza bother equally good and piping hot. Persevere to find this place. It's in a very short street that appears to go no where. If you find it you won't be disappointed.

Found this place on TripTripadvisor. It's not in the main tourist area but well worth visiting if you're in the area. Great pasta and pizza dishes (plus more on the menu) and nice wine all at reasonable prices. A lovely atmosphere with friendly service.

I've been there twice and in both cases I chose pizza because they really do it very good: light, digestible, condita ad hoc. local to the hand, nice and witty waiter. appropriate account at Milan prices. to review the sweets: they are a little heavy.
