Bidra med feedbackBeautiful intimate garden area outside. eating was fabulous and quite perfect in every sight. I had a risotto, that was creamy, tasteful and seasoned exactly right. my waiter recommended the head rib to my head and I was not disappointed. in the usa I would say 50% of the time, it is hard to get bark meat to a perfect medium stock, but without asking the chef at acquacheta delivered the perfect temperature meat. if there was a slight negatiw, it would be that the service was pretty slow. but one expects that in italia in general, so no great thing. I will say the atmosphere felt intimate; a little like a neighboring dinner party where everyone else knew herself and I was the stranger standing in the corner. but every time I had the personal in the conversation, they were kind and really a nice baptism people recommended.
Acquacheta is a combination of good service, excellent atmosphere and great food.
Nice and cozy place, good food and polite staff! The only little advice that I can give is that the menu is not really vegetarian friendly but it’s a meaty place so I guess I had to see that coming! Anyway the overall experience was great :
Great night in very particular restaurant on a secondary street of viale Monza. The inspiration is clearly Tuscan cooking with a salt of the earth series of entree, first courses that appeal the most varied palate and the piece of resistance the braceria which encompasses all the bbq/over open fire cooking very dear to the Tuscan tradition. Costata and Fiorentina are really good, hearty portions starting around the the 1,5 kg for the Fiorentina and the 800gr/1kg for the costata. We ordered antipasti that covered different kinds of ham, sausage and truffle mortadella with gnocco fritto @eki8128 ordered a very fresh and crunchy mozzarella and puntarelle salad. We then moved to a costata, a tagliata and a fiorentina. All very nice and very well cooked and presented with a side of roasted potatoes. To drink we chose, from a quite substantial wine menu, a very nice bottle of lacrima di morro d 'alba . A fairly tasty and important red wine from Marche that presents itself with black berries and liquerice notes on the palate, very fresh on the tongue that complemented the dinner quite well. As dessert a parfait with a chocolate sauce and a Catalan cream. Both fairly nice with the right crunchy sounds when breaking the caramelized sugar layer. Restaurant itself is really nice. Somewhere in between the rustic and old milanese style, checkered table cloth and a very kind and caring staff that answered all our questions with kindness and knowledge. While it might not be the best braceria in Milan, acquechete is a solid choice for a friends night out in a shabby chic setting. Obvs, cause what we ordered, the price was around 60 euros per person. Was expected and quite aligned with others in the same category. Will look forward to come back in summer to check the outside spaces and the al fresco dining in the garden.
The place was quiet nice it’s antique style. Staffs are not that kind at all. When it comes to food it’s ok, I expected better. It’s a little bit costly for what I ate. They also have outside table. We’ve preferred inside to avoid getting cold outside. They haven’t any warmer machine outside it was pity.
