Bidra med feedbackGood food! Nice friendly staff and atmosphere. They have a separate room with a fireplace. Variety of foods on the menu. Giant pretzels and Southwest Egg Rolls are delish...as is the Jambalaya. Have had several different sandwiches all very good.
-I believe in honest reviews. Some places that have bad reviews have gotten great reviews and some people who have good reviews have gotten bad reviews. I see reviews as a form of room for improvement for the establishment. With that being said…….We came in right at lunch time. Bartender came to our table quickly, she was very nice and smiled. Took our drink orders and gave us a few minutes to decide. We order an appetizer while we decided.Once we were ready to order I ordered the BLT and she ordered the chicken spinach sandwich. Food came hot and promptly that’s a plus. However that was quickly overlooked with the portion sizes. The appetizer was $10 for barely enough for one person. The BLT was on very thin bread. The bread was toasted and was very small in size. It looked like a loaf the size of one you would find at Walmart. Very disappointed, hardly a few strips of bacon, mainly lettuce and tomato. So they definitely are not giving you any value on the BLT at all. As for the flavor it was a 6/10 so not bad.My girlfriend said her chicken was moist but lacked any flavor or seasoning, it was nice to try and see them be creative and add spinach artichoke on it. But again very disappointed and serving size very small. We let the waitress know once we saw the $50 bill that we felt that the price didn’t match the quality or portion size. The waitress sympathized with us. We said we would like if they could discount the meal do to the inadequacies of the quality and portion size. She said she would have to get the manager. After waiting nearly 15 minutes for the manager/owner I’m assuming she came over and I shared with her my thoughts on the whole experience. I’m no Karen, I was kind and honest. I let her know the foods flavor was ok. That it came to us hot but that they were definitely lacking in quality portion sizes and that they did not align with the prices. I didn’t insult or yell. She seemed to be offended just through body language. And told me she only partially agreed about the fried pickles and said she’d comp my $3 beer and my $2 pop.I expressed that didn’t seem to be very adequate given the experience we had. She eventually in the most sarcastic and demeaning tone told me “I’ll comp your meal, you’re welcome to never come back.” She then patted my arm. You don’t touch peoples arm after giving a sarcastic comment because your upset that your service was poor. It’s flu season and Covid is still a thing. All in all if you’ve had a good experience here it was probably before the new management change. Best of luck Legends on your future endeavors and hopefully you see this as a learning experience.
