Kounelas Fish Tavern - Mikonos

Spotted the Mixed Seafood for 2 sign while exploring Mykonos on foot and decided to give it a try. Every staff encountered were all very friendly and helpful. You can make a personal selection of which fish, prawn, etc that you would like by visiting the seafood area downstairs. Seafood platter had a good mix of seafood selection. Whilst the prices are expensive compared to our home town, it is considered to be reasonable and good value in Mykonos for its tourist prices. Although it’s not the best seafood and souvlaki we’ve had whilst in Mykonos, it is still delicious and a place we’d return for more seafood. Definitely a place I’d recommend to try at least once whilst in Mykonos and judge for yourself. Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

They did a seafood platter for us for 3 and it was wonderful with a sea bass and sea brim and shrimps and mussels and octopus, delicious and filling ! The picture doesn’t do it’s justice the actual shrimp were size of a grown ups hand .
